RALEIGH, N.C. — Raleigh-based marketing agency The Department of Marketing has added a new partner, company leaders announced today.
Jennifer Suárez joined partner George Wallace at The Department of Marketing, which will celebrate its 15-year anniversary in September. Suárez brings the perfect mix of talent, strategic thinking, and management skills, Wallace said.
“We’re so pleased to add Jennifer as a partner in the firm; she has become an integral part of our team over the last several years and we couldn’t have enjoyed our continuous growth without having her here,” Wallace said. “Bringing her on as a partner to help continue our growth was the next logical step. I am excited for what 2019 will bring for The DofM and this new partnership.”
Suárez received a bachelor’s degree in journalism from Southern Illinois University and a master’s degree in Public Affairs Reporting from the University of Illinois at Springfield. She hosts about podcast about transit and transportation and lives in downtown Raleigh with her family. She has worked with The Department of Marketing since 2012.
“Working with George and the rest of the DofM team has been a pleasure as well as a wonderful challenge,” Suárez said. “I’m so thrilled to grow with the company, and I’m excited about the work that lies ahead.”
The “DofM” offers full-service marketing solutions, complementing internal marketing departments throughout the Triangle and beyond. Wallace opened the firm in 2003 with a partner who left in 2015 to pursue other goals. The marketing company based in Raleigh services include SEO, custom website creation, content marketing, logo and branding, strategy, social media management, and more.
